Justin Marco
Justin Marco is born and raised in Thornhill, Ontario, and practices as an Osteopath. He also holds the role of CEO and clinic director at OSTEO+. In 2017, Justin graduated from York University with a specialized honours degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences and continued his education at the National Academy Of Osteopathy, where he received his title as a DOMP (Diploma of Osteopathic Manual Practice). Justin played highly competitive hockey growing up, winning an Ontario championship, A GTHL championship, as well as a gold medal in the 2013 Maccabiah Games for Ice hockey and received a hockey scholarship to a highly touted NCAA school in the United States. It was always his greatest dream to become a professional hockey player but injuries were a big deterrent of that as he suffered many. He spent a large portion of time receiving treatment from all different types of therapist, which is what lead him down the path of Osteopathy.
Having seen what all these amazing practitioners did for him; from treating immediate and acute pain, to the longer term chronic pain, it sparked a major interest for him to get into the field of Osteopathy. He chose the profession of Osteopathy over any other health profession due to its full body approach to treatment and how effective it is in helping people with chronic pain. He currently spends most of his free time coaching minor hockey and with friends and family. His goal is to help young athletes grow and develop both as hockey players and individuals on and off the ice. He also thoroughly enjoys gaming, watching sports and being active!
