Flora
Flora is a Naturopathic Doctor based in Toronto, Ontario, licensed by the College of
Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO). She is also a proud member of the Canadian Association of
Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND).
Growing up in a traditional Chinese family, Flora was often treated with Chinese medicine and
acupuncture whenever she fell ill. This early exposure sparked her interest in natural healing.
After moving from Hong Kong to Toronto, she discovered a broader range of natural therapies,
including Western herbal medicine and nutritional supplements. This deepened her passion for
health and inspired her to pursue a career in naturopathic medicine.
Flora earned her Doctor of Naturopathy degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic
Medicine (CCNM), a rigorous four-year program consisting of three years of classroom learning
and one year of clinical training. During her clinical year, she provided care to patients at the
Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic and Brampton Civic Hospital under the supervision of
licensed naturopathic doctors. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences,
Biology, and Psychology from the University of Waterloo.
Flora is passionate about supporting her patients on their journeys toward better health. She
finds it deeply rewarding to see patients return feeling healthier, more balanced, and
empowered. She believes strongly in the role of preventative medicine, emphasizing education,
active listening, and treating the root causes of illness rather than simply managing symptoms.
Her general areas of focus include fertility, pain management, anxiety, digestive health, adrenal
fatigue, stress and weight management, and chronic conditions such as high blood pressure,
diabetes, and elevated cholesterol. She welcomes patients with a wide range of health concerns
and provides individualized, comprehensive care.
Outside of her practice, Flora enjoys walking along nature trails, capturing scenic moments with
her camera, and spending time outdoors with her two little dogs.
